WorthMath
Calculators that show what your time and money are really worth

About WorthMath

WorthMath is a collection of free calculators built around one idea: the honest unit of cost is not the sticker price, but the hours of your life and the money you actually keep.

A salary looks different once the commute is counted. A purchase looks different spread over the times you'll really use it. Each tool here converts one everyday decision — a job offer, a commute, a purchase, a subscription — into that honest denominator, so you can compare options on equal footing.

How the calculators work

Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server, stored, or shared. Each calculator page explains its formula in plain language, so you can check the math yourself or reproduce it in a spreadsheet.

We publish worked examples, identify material assumptions, and link to primary public sources when a rule or factual claim informs a guide. Calculator logic and its explanation are reviewed together when a formula changes. Our full process and correction policy are available on the methodology page.

Who is responsible

WorthMath independently publishes and maintains this site. We do not accept payment to alter a calculator's outcome or ranking. Questions, source suggestions, and correction reports go directly to the contact address below; corrections take priority over new tools.

What this site is not

These tools are for orientation, not prescription. They are not financial, tax, or career advice, and they can't know your full situation. For decisions with serious consequences, treat the results as a starting point for a conversation with a qualified professional.
